Irish American Cultural Society Of South Jersey
The I.A.C.S meets each month, from September through June, at 7:30 PM at the American Legion Post #28, New Jersey Avenue and Mill Road, Absecon, New Jersey. Meetings begin with a program of interest which the public is invited to attend, followed by a brief business meeting. Programs represent a wide range of interest and at various times have featured poets, musicians skilled in traditional Irish music and instruments, dramatists, workshops and videos. Club members have taught informational classes in knitting, baking, and, always a favorite, Irish dancing.
Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of Cultural Affairs within the Department of State, through funds administered by the Atlantic County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs
Please, don't forget to bring your non perishable food to the meeting to help feed the needy.
